Xi’an North Railway Station was opened on 11th January 2011 and is operated by the Xi’an Railway Bureau of The China Railway. Strategically, it is located on Yuanshuo Road, Weiyang District in Xi’an Shaanxi. The station serves Datong-Xi’an, a passenger’s railway. Several high speed railways like Zhengzhou –Xi’and Xi’an-Baoji depend on it too.

Both entrances have ticket offices open from 05:30 to 24:00.The waiting hall has in it the best eating joints like UBC Coffee, KFC, McDonalds and Daniang Dumplings. Art sections selling of handcraft items and local products are found here. Lavatories and hot water drinking rooms are located on the east and west side of the hall. If you need any assistance, the random call buttons in the hall are what you should use.
Checking in begins half an hour prior to departure and takes 25 minutes only. Check In machines are self-service and easy to use. Swipe the ticket if it is blue in color. Pink tickets for those with huge luggage need punching at check in points by station staff.Exiting the station is either by subway, bus or taxi.
